What are your hours of operation?

The casino and boat are open 8:30 am – 6:30 am daily. The Pavilion and Crave are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For individual restaurant hours, visit the Dining section of the site.


Do you charge admission to enter the casino?

No, Grand Victoria Casino was the first casino in the area to offer FREE ADMISSION, and we’ve continued that commitment to our guests.


What are the valid forms of identification that are accepted at the Grand Victoria Casino?

The Illinois Gaming Board requires guests who appear 30 years of age or younger to provide one of the following forms of identification prior to entering the casino:

  • Driver’s license or state photo identification card issued in the United States
    • Temporary paper driver’s licenses or identification cards will not be accepted unless accompanied by an expired hard card driver’s license. 
    • Traffic tickets are not acceptable.
  • Photo identification cards issued by government entities located within the United States or U.S. territories and possessions.
    • Identification cards issued by state agencies (not entities) such as Firearm Owner’s Identification cards are not acceptable.
  • U.S. issued permanent residence card.
  • U.S. issued military identification cards.
  • Passports.

All identification must contain a photo and date of birth.

Expired identification is not acceptable.

Damaged or worn identification or identification which cannot be scanned is not acceptable.

Photocopied or digital (cell phone) identification is not acceptable. 

Grand Victoria Casino employees may not make exceptions to these Illinois Gaming Board Rules.


If you present a fraudulent ID or an ID belonging to another person, the Illinois Gaming Board Agent on-duty and the Elgin Police Department will be called and your arrest and prosecution will be sought.


How old do I need to be to enter the casino?

The legal age to enter a gaming facility in the state of Illinois is 21 years of age. If you look 30 years old or younger, you will be asked to present valid ID to prove you are of legal age before you are allowed to enter the casino. See above for valid forms of ID.


Is your casino handicapped accessible and do you have wheelchairs?

Yes, the casino is handicap accessible with available wheelchairs, a handicapped parking lot and even a handicapped accessible blackjack table. If you require a wheelchair please see the information booth located in the pavilion lower level.


How do I sign up for a Club GVC card?

Please stop by Club GVC and present your picture ID. A Club Representative will be happy to sign you up.


I haven’t been at the casino in a while. How long do my points/comp dollars stay in my account?

Power Points will stay in your account for one year from the last date of play.


Can I check my Power Point/status online?

In order to protect your privacy, Grand Victoria Casino does not currently offer this online service, patrons may soon be able to check their Power Point status online. Please stop by Club GVC and present your picture ID to check your Power Points.
